Busy and Fun Saturday!!

Yesterday, we had one busy day.  We started off the morning going to the River City Cluster of Dogs Show.  Since Molly loves dogs, we knew she'd love it.  The rest of us enjoyed it too.

 

 

 

 

 

After the dog show, we picked up my niece, Allissa at the airport.  She flew in from IL and will be here for a week.  She watched a movie with the kids and played some games with Molly that afternoon.  Then we celebrated Tyler's birthday early.  He's going back with Allissa on Friday and will be in IL for his birthday.  We celebrated early so he can get some practice on one of his gifts before he goes.

Tyler has been bummed that I won't let him take my Kindle to IL and for his ride to CO with G & G.  I got him a new book, a drawing kit, a joke book (get ready Mom and Dad) and car bingo. I told him these are what me and his aunts had to play with when we were his age. 

 

But we really did get him an electronic!  He got a Samsung Galaxy.  He loves it of course and can get used to it and get all his apps and games on it before he leaves. 

Tyler picked Two Step for his dinner. 

After dinner, we went to the Tejas Rodeo.  I have been wanting to go for awhile and it was something new we could do with Allissa.  It was a lot of fun.  Allissa rode the mechanical bull and the kids each had a pony ride.

 

 

The rodeo part was fun too.  We saw bull riding, calf roping, mutton busting, barrel racing, and a calf scramble.
