Tom and Brittany's Visit

The last week in March, my brother, Tom and his girlfriend, Brittany came for a visit.  I'm a little late in posting since the next week, I had surgery, and then we were in Molly's birthday mode. We had a great visit and I'm so glad they came.  I had met Brittany twice before this visit, but I was glad to get to know her better and hang out.  She is so much fun and we all got along great.

On Tuesday, we took her to What-a-Burger and did a little shopping.  Back home, the kids had fun playing with Uncle Tom and Brittany.  We cooked on the fire pit that night.

 

 

Wednesday was Brittany's birthday.  We went to the Wildlife Safari.  It was a lot of fun.  Molly had been before, but didn't remember it.

 

 

 

We went out to dinner that night at La Gloria.  It was a yummy Mexican restaurant down on the River Walk. 

 

Thursday night was a big night.  My brother proposed to Brittany and she said Yes!!  They were down on the Riverwalk with Brittany's best friend, Courtnie, who lives here.  He had told us Tuesday night he was going to and we were as surprised as Brittany was.  They've talked about getting married, but we all thought Tom was going to wait till after graduation.  I'm so glad he did it here in Texas.  We're so happy to have her join our family!  The wedding date is set for May 13, 2017.

Friday we just relaxed and hung out more when they were here.  We played outside and watched movies.  Saturday, they flew back home.  It was a great visit!
